First Rumblings of Interoception Study Group

Welcome to the Interoception Study Group! I didn’t expect to get so many responses. I’m so happy! And so unprepared. I slapped together this web page as a possible platform for us, but I am in no way wedded to this idea. I would like to have something—this, a WhatsApp chat or a google doc or something else that captures our thinking and reading and collaboration.

Let’s start with a few questions (you can use the comments feature for your answers):

  1. Tell us* about yourself and what might you hope to get out of this collaboration?

  2. If you have some ideas about how a useful study group might operate, generally speaking, please share! What would incline you to consistent participation?

  3. Give us some ideas about loose goals for this group that bring a smile to your face.

  4. Would you like the group to be 100% Feldies, or might we include Interoception-niks of different kinds?

  5. Aside from the pubmed literature, do you have any books or articles you would recommend?

While we wait for people’s responses, it might be interesting for you to scan some of the articles published in the last few years: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=interoception

I don’t want to anchor people with my answers, but for the ‘tell us about yourself’ part—I graduated last year from Questel’s Santa Fe program (and I started in Colima). I’m a lawyer and a scientist and a bit of a geek, who practiced as a mediator for 30 years.

Thanks for responding! Carie

*’Us’ means … you and everyone else who found their way to this page.
